Rc'd of William Gleaves one hundred and fifty four dollars for which I have sold him my Negro woman Nancy & on his Paying the residue of her value will Deliver warrant and Defend the Said Negro to the Said William Gleaves his Heirs or Assigns forever. The aforesaid Remainder of her value to be Asertained By reference to two or more Disinterested Persons as may be Agreed when Demanded By the Said William Gleaves Given under My hand & Seal this 10th Day of May A.D. 1818 William Ramsey (seal)
