At a Court held for Wythe County the 14th day of May 1822
George W. Danner, Henry Huffman & Richard Hobbs, three of the persons appointed by this Court at the April Term last to View the Way proposed by James T. Gleaves for an alteration of the road in the road from the Buffalow ford of Cripple Creek to near the big Spring on or near the road leading to the lead mines on his own land;  returned a report in the following words to wit  “Pursuant to an order to us directed We the undersigned being first sworn & do directed Whereupon it is considered by the Court that the alteration proposed will be convenient;  It is therefore ordered that the same be established & opened and it is further Ordered that the Overseer of the road Where the said alteration has been made, with the usual hands keep the same in repair.
