I take up my pen to write to you again but I believe all of you are Determined not to write to me I hope you will not tret me as I did you last winter by not writeing to you for it was not for a want of friendship tell Malvina she has fallen very short of complying with her promice to wirite to me My health has not been good and Elizabeths is as bad as it can be She has been confined to her bed for six weeks she has not set up one hour during that time I saw her yesterday she told me she was mending a little and also told me she would leave there as soon as She was able Charles is a full mach for Robert to cry or any thing Else I will be there in September if I can nothing will prevent me but the health of my Dear wife I must say I think she never will be able I have a set of Devils to deal with here and I will give some of them hell if they look out Nothing more but write to me immeadiately
