On Learning

Learning is the chief key stone of the foundation from which (their has been a) many persons started from mere nothing you may say. And (has) rose to the very pinacle of fame from which they have now their names stamped in the pages of history of past ages to show to nations what they have been (once). Again let your imagination if you please, run to the most remote part of the earth and you will see a vast difference in the learning of men. and treatment of them . When we cast our eyes around us we will see the most eminent & distinguished persons who have made themselves from mere learning and close application. Look at Cicero Demosthenes and several others too tedious to name and you will see the very moment you cast your eyes on them an example of well educated men.
