        Four months after date I
promise to pay to Bank of Wytheville or order, without offset,
~Fifty ~~~Dollars,
For value received, negotiable and payable at the Bank of Wytheville, Wytheville, Virginia.

And the maker and each endorser of this note hereby waive the benefit of the Homestead Exemption as to this note. And the maker and each endorser of this note hereby waive the presentment of this note and demand for its payment, and also waive the protest notice of dishonor and non-payment of this note and it is expressly agreed by both maker and endorsers that should the holder of this note give notice of presentment, demand for payment, protest notice of dishonor and non-payment of same, that the giving of such notice shall in no way effect or impair the validity of the above waiver, said waiver being to save expense and inconvenience to maker and endorsers.

note.  And we each, hereby, waive the presentment
of and demand for payment, and also waive the
protest notice of dishonor and non-payment of this
note—this being to save us costs, expense and in-
convenience; but, should the holder of this note
give notice of presentment, demand for payment,
protest notice of dishonor and non-payment of the
same, it is in no wise to affect or impair the above
waiver.
