Mrs. Geneva G. Hirsbrunner

Funeral Services for Mrs. Geneva G. Hirsbrunner, age 94 of Cullman, will be Saturday, December 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating. The graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.

Mrs. Hirsbrunner passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born in Davidson County, TN on October 3, 1917 to the late James Robert Gleaves and Effie Estep Gleaves.
Mrs. Hirsbrunner was a member of First Baptist Church in Cullman, she enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and was an excellent cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James D. Hirsbrunner, and she was also the last of ten siblings. 
Survivors include her Daughter – Gwen (Fred) Blair; two 2 – Sons – Ralph Hirsbrunner and Dr. Don (Holly) Hirsbrunner; four 4 – Grandchildren – Michael (Jennifer) Blair, Chris (Kristin) Blair, Becca Hirsbrunner and Tim (Laura) Hirsbrunner; and three 3- Great-Grandchildren – Steven Blair, Megan Blair and Emma Blair.
The family will accept friends for visitation at the funeral home on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The family request donations be made in-lieu-of-flowers, to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at First Baptist Church of Cullman.
