He is survived by his mother, Ann Dressel Gleaves; brother, Terry Gleaves; sister, Patricia Gleaves Clark; brother-in-law, Virgil Clark; nephews, Jason and Jamie Clark; aunts, Mary Walton, Virginia Winters and Katherine Gleaves Simpson of Nashville; uncle, Raymond Gleaves of Ashville, NC. Artie was a member of Woodbine Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1130 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 in Woodlawn Dignity Hall, with Pastor Ben McGinnis officiating.
