Obituary

Dr. Benjamin Trigg Gleaves Jr. DDS, age 91, of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Gleaves was born on June 19, 1920, in Mt. Juliet, TN. He was the son of the late Benjamin Trigg Gleaves Sr. and Monty Jacobs Gleaves. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and attended Second Baptist Church of Griffin. He was a veteran of the US Army. 
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Louise Gleaves of Griffin; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cynthia Gleaves of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Stephen Wright of Griffin, grandson and his wife, Christopher and Jennifer Gleaves, great-grandson, Layton Gleaves.
Graveside funeral services for Dr. Gleaves will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2:00 in Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. David Hill will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 12:00 noon until 1:40 at the funeral home.
