Age 82 of Nashville. Passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005. He was a native of Nashville and son of the late Owen and Rosa Guywn Gleaves. Mr. Gleaves was a member of First Baptist Church of Donelson and lifetime member of the McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge in Donelson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Frances Caldwell Gleaves; daughter, Gail Gleaves Smedley and granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Lambert. He is survived by his loving family; son, John T. Gleaves, Jr. of Nashville; daughter, Guywn Gleaves Lambert and husband Dudley Lambert of Tyrone, GA; grandchildren, Kim Roberts, Laura Mitchell, Rebekah Sanderlin, Jay Lambert, John Gleaves III, Wes Lambert, Sarah Smedley and Rachel Smedley; thirteen great grandchildren. Mr. Gleaves is at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, 1101 Lebanon Pike, where the family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with Rev.
