Age 93, of Nashville passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, on August 10, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Gleaves; and is survived by her daughter, Anne S. Schlesinger; and her son, Thomas F. (Sandra) Stacks of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Lorianne Baker, St., Petersburg Beach, FL; grandson, Robert E. (Sherry) Baker, Jr.; one great-grandson, Robert E. Baker, III, of Nashville, TN; one sister, Pauline D. Barnett of Tyler, TX plus many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gleaves was born in Madison county TN but lived most of her adult life in Nashville as a homemaker and Mother. She was an avid gardener, a gifted watercolorist and ceramist and also painted china which she fired in her on kiln, she also enjoyed the many treasures God shared with us. She will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted family, neighbors and friends. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. to 1130 a.m. Sunday, August 14, 2005, at Hermitage Funeral Home followed with a memorial service with Rev. Arden Schlesinger officiating, Inurnment immediately following the service.
