GLEAVES, Melissa H.Age 91 of Hermitage, TN, received by our lord on January 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, William Russell Gleaves. She is survived by her two sons, William Russell Gleaves, Jr. of Hermitage, TN and Harold Thomas Gleaves of Rutherfordton, NC; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a most gentle human being. A Preacher's wife for 66 years and a docent at the Hermitage for 15 years. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 with visitation from 10-11:30 a.m. on Thursday before the service at WOODLAWN-ROESCH-PATTON FUNERAL HOME, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204, (615)383-4754
