Sir I have wrote to W. Wickham respecting a sute he has undertaken in the Court of Appeal, I want the favour of you so soon as you receive these lines to enquire at him whether there has been anything done in the business or not if there has write to me immediately. ~~ I want you particularly to call on him when you are about to leave Richmond & know of him whether he has anything to write or not & when he suposes the Sute will be determined.
I do not know that there is a land warrent to be had in Wythe County, I want you if your cash holds out to bring me a 4 or 500 acre warrant for which I will pay you on the rect. (receipt) of the warrent or if I have an opportunity I will send you the money before you leve Richmond Land Warrents I supose would sell well here – you will do me a favour to bring me one as I stand much in need of one.
I have no News, remember me to all my aquaintences on the Assembly & particularly to J. D. Sharp I have never seen him since he mounted the chitton poney, your friends are well my wife came from Mrs. Crocketts on Sunday
