I inform you that me and family are Well at this time hoping these few lin[es] ma find you and family Well I would be glad to See you all if I could I exspect to come and see you a gane if I can thare has ben a grate many things taulk about you conserning the land and other things I would be glad you would rite to me about the asstate and how much is coming in money When all the dets is pade I want you to let me no about all the matter and afairs rite everything about the hole besness I intend to bring my account aganst the asstate and have my money if I can William Orr sayes that he intens to make me pay that wenty five dllars Mr Gleaves plese to help me if you can your most humble servent

Transcriber Notes

Phillip Fry (1786-1853) married Randolph Rutherford's daughter, Jane (b. 1787). Randolph died in January, 1841, and James T. Gleaves was executor of his estate. The Orrs and Frys lived in McMinn County, Tennessee.
