In 1845 Marshal Delph married Sarah J. A. (known as Julia Ann) Danner, the daughter of George Danner. George had died in 1839 and James T. Gleaves was appointed as administrator of the estate. Also at that time Julia Ann chose John Spanker to be her guardian as she was above the age of 14.
See letter 720, dated September, 1848 where James Gleaves pays a fee to the courts to record a deed from Delp. This may be the payment for that land.
