Dear Father
I saw Mr E. Wiley about the Bacon and he says that he will take it. And will give you what it is selling for in the country which is about 4 ½ to 5 cts. You can send it if you like but I think it is very little.
He saided that he would prefer hams, entirely. Mr. Rosinbum wants to sell some fresh butter. You can tell him that he will take it provided it will go (in part) to pay for G Rosinbum tuition and he will allow them 10 cts, a pound
Write as soon as possible and let me know how you are for I will feel very anxious to hear from you.
Yours in haste
S. C. Gleaves
