I give to Samuel C. Gleaves, son of my bother, James T. Gleaves, my negroe woman, Eliza, and her two youngest children, namely Elmira and Dicy, and the future increase of Eliza if any there should be to him & his heirs forever. Also my gold watch.
I give to George Wythe Gleaves, son of my brother, James T. Gleaves, Levina and all her children, namely Emily, Martha, Ada, Gaily, Amanda & James, and my man Harden and the increase of Levina hereafter if any there should be together with the increase of her daughters herein named if any there should be, to him and his heirs forever. I also give to him my side saddle & saddle bags and my best bridle.
I give to James T. Gleaves, Jr., son of my brother, James T. Gleaves, my negroe woman Fluvanna and her daughter Mary & their increase hereafter if any there should be, to him and his heirs forever.
I give to Robert H. Gleaves, son of my brother, James T. Gleaves, my two negroe girls Anare & Caroline to him and his heirs forever.
I give to Margaret Turk & Sally Allen my two living sisters, fifty dollars each to be paid out of any money to my estate.
I wish all the balance of my property together with my money to be equally divided between the four about named sons of my brother James T. Gleaves.

Nancy Gleaves was the youngest daughter of William Benjamin Gleaves and Elizabeth Turk. She was born April 9, 1792 and died May 16, 1855 at 63 Years, 1 Months, 7 Days. She never married.
Margaret Turk, Nancy’s sister, was married to Thomas Turk III. She was born Jan 1, 1784 and died Sep 14, 1855.
Sally Allen, Nancy’s sister, was married to Nathan Allen. She was born February 20, 1790 and died March 11, 1862.
Nancy does not mention Andrew Jackson Gleaves, the youngest son of her brother James T. Gleaves born on December 26, 1845.
