This Deed made this the 2nd of September 1871 between Samuel C Gleaves Executor of James T Gleaves Sr Decd. of the 1st part & Robert H Gleaves of the second part all of the County of Wythe State of Virginia
     Witnesseth that the said S C Gleaves Executor of the first part  for & in consideration of the sum of one dollar the receipt of which is acknowledged hath sold bargain & granted a certain tract or parcel of Land under special warranty containing one hundred & ninety acres more or less.  The same being one third of a tract of Land purchased by James T Gleaves Sr  Decd from the Estate of Randal Rutherford lying on the waters of Cripple Creek adjoining the lands of R H Gleaves  Nebemiah Fry & David Rosimbum & tract of Land known as the Percival Farm all in the County of Wythe S'peedwell-Township & State of Virginia
