Dear Uncle Bob:
I do not know better what to do with your papers & those of Uncle Robt. H. Crockett, than to return these to you, which I here with do. It is impossible for me to make a final & perfect settlement between you without having his note agst you. If you & he can make a settlement do so, if not if you will hold the papers until May Term of your Court I can fix it all up for you. It was impossible for me to come by the Creek as I wanted to do had to go to the upper end of the County which prevented me. I have no news. Susie Sam are only moderate, very sever colds. Hoping you are all well, with much love from us to you all, I am
