And then doth the judging of Eli begin,

13th Eli judges Israel 40 years.

 

 

And then do the Israelites want only sin.

 

The Israelites are delivered to

 

 

'Tis an era of sinning!  An era of pain!

 

the Philistines 40 years.

 

 

In all of their battles the Philistines gain!

Then Samson was born in that time of despair!
