Dear Sir
    I have collected for Mr. Joseph Allen Clerk of the Court of Appeals in Richmond $82.16c  will you oblige me by paying to Mr. Allen that amount if it will not put you to inconvenience and I will either pay you when you return home or will deposit the amt with any person you may designate here so soon as you inform me that you have complied with my request.

 

    Your friends are generally well.  Samuel Crockett, of the Cove has had a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism but I understand today is much better.
